15 Powerful Affirmations for the Christian Woman (with printable)

“What we think and what we believe, becomes our reality.”  Read that again. Now, jot down some ways you talk to yourself and some things you believe about yourself and your future.  I did this inventory about 7 years back when someone told me about affirmations and the power of my own tongue.  It floored me to realize that exactly what I thought, felt and believed was actually the exact life I was living at the time.  I had nothing to lose then so trying affirmations was worth a shot (and I’m glad I took it.)

This isn’t voodoo, magic or some special technique, this is simple and biblical.  Speaking truth, love and life over yourself and others is God breathed and written in the Word. “The soothing tongue is a tree of life, but a perverse tongue crushes the spirit.” – Proverbs 15:4, “As a man thinks, so is he.” -Proverbs 23:7, “Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”– Hebrews 11:1

So if God wants us to speak well, think well and hope well, then who are we to not do it?  I’ve taken my own personal affirmations and made a printable for you to use and put on your mirror.  In a few weeks, I’d love to hear from you about your experience!
